“A new way to find, organize and share your inspirations.” Inspirabox is a great new venture currently in private beta (you can request an invite on-site though). The service is very easy to use, allowing you, with the help of their extensions, to “save influential content from around the web with just a few clicks to your Collections.” The tagline “From Creatives for Creatives” clearly resonates as “All inspirations saved by our users are accessible and searchable to give you a cumulative pool of ideas” – But don’t worry if you’d rather not share, all Collections can be set to my-eye-only status.
So how do you “Organize your visual bookmarks” you ask? It couldn’t be easier. With Inspirabox you can “Create Collections for specific topics and build your own library of noteworthy and visual resources…Use inspirabox for your Design Projects or Conceptual Brainstorming.” And no one is sitting still – as they state, “A lot of collaborative features for Teams are already on our Roadmap.” Exciting times!
Of course social integration is a key aspect of inspiration on the web. You can share all Collections with friends, family, and “other creative folks” instantaneously. Furthermore, you can “Get recommended inspirations by other users, participate in discussions and like your favorite discoveries.” The key thing is: “Just get inspired!” Be sure to check them out – they’re doing cool things!
